Happy New Year members and friends of the Old Dominion Bar Association!
It is that time of year again, where ODBA presents our Winter Meeting. This year's Winter Meeting will be hosted in Northern Virginia at the Hilton Garden Inn National Airport in Crystal City. We have a lot of exciting things in store for our members, guests, family, and friends. For starters, those of our members who wish to make a day job it, we invite you to join your brothers and sisters of ODBA on a Friday tour of the National Museum of African American History & Culture. We have reserved 30 passes, courtesy of Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott, for ODBA members to take a tour and experience the richness and diversity of the African American experience in America. If you are interested in attending and touring with our ODBA group, the tour begins at 11:45 on January 31. Tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis to the Winter Meeting's Early Bird registrants until they are gone.
Friday evening, there will be a party at the Crystal City Sports Pub, one block from the Hotel. There is no cost to registrants and registered guests for the party, however a la carte tickets for the party only (for those who have not registered for the Winter Meeting as a member/guest) will be $25. Again - if you register for the Winter Meeting as a registrant or a registered guest, you do not need to purchase an additional ticket for the party. Saturday we have an incredible lineup of CLE and speakers that we hope will excite you as much as it has excites us! We are still in the final stages of finalizing our CLE and Lunch program, and will forward that information out in the upcoming days once everything is confirmed.
ODBA has a room block reserved at the hotel for $119/night, and includes Breakfast. We expect that these rooms will go quickly, and for that location, it is an incredible price. The link to the hotel room block will be included in the registration confirmation email you get back once you have registered. Early Bird Prices remain in place until January 10, 2025. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from DCA, .2 miles from the Crystal City Metro Station, and less than 2 minutes to Pentagon City Mall if you need to pick up something unexpectedly.
