When serious illness strikes, bills and financial matters are at best, an afterthought and, at worst, an impossible obligation. Unfortunately, individuals battling for improved physical health often have to contend with an equally demanding and exhaustive battle for financial health. As a result, debt, both consumer and medical, leaves clients vulnerable to creditors and bankruptcy. Dale Pittman, dedicated LINC Attorney Volunteer and recognized consumer protection and debt collection attorney, will teach a “nuts and bolts” CLE on the common issues and substantive law affecting clients who are facing both debt and illness.

This program has been approved for 1.5 hours of MCLE credit. By registering for this free CLE program, attendees certify that, in exchange for the CLE credit, they will accept a pro bono referral from or make a financial donation to CancerLINC or their local legal aid organization.
